A Wagon, A Luxury Family Car, And A Performance Car All In One

One may use too many words to describe the lengthy Cadillac’s CTS-V Wagon but the truth of the matter is that very few cars in its class can tick as many boxes as it does. You see, this car was a wagon, a luxury car and if need there be, it became a performance car.

It was American in all ways as if to crown its abilities. The problem though was that not as many buyers showed interest in it Cadillac finally made slightly more than 1,000 units.

Gifted with a Corvette-sourced engine that pulling 400-hp from a 5.7-liter V-8 hole, this car throws the attitude of go-anywhere and do anything any time. Things just get better because it is paired to an enthusiastic six-speed manual gearbox.

Its no wonder then that within 4.8 secs, this car is able to reach 60 mph. Lots of improvements were made over time but among the most interesting was the stocky tires that sleeved in 18-inch six-lug aluminum wheels as well as four-piston Brembo brakes among others.

The 2017 generation which was also the final one took everything to a whole new level. It put on the 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine from Corvette and delivered 640 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque.

The coupe, wagon, and six-speed manual were omitted with a sedan body being the choice and a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Cadillac is no longer making this car but it surely did what it was supposed to in its time.

If you have a chance of owing one, do not hesitate. These are the kind of cars whose value make sense with time.
