How A Jet Became A Road Legal Limo; Sounds More Fictional Than Reality

It’s Long, Imposing, And Outstanding

We don’t know exactly how many crazy ideas will come our way going forward but we do know that we haven’t seen anything yet. One of the areas in which we’ve seen great investments taking place is that of flying cars, where developers are toying with the idea of flying you out of traffic and maybe being able to land you on tarmac on and off.

But an Illinois-based company known as Jetsetter Inc. is taking things to the extreme route with a road-legal project called the Limo-Jet. Sometimes in the last quarter of 2018, this outrageous outfit took the internet by storm with a Facebook post that announced its progress.

The Limo-Jet is based on a Lear Jet plane that lay idle for some time and folks down at Illinois thought they could make better use for it. Though it soars no more, it roars because it’s loaded to the gills with audio gear.

If you pay a visit, you will find a 4,500-watt stereo system. You can as well get lost in an extraordinary audio-visual experience by watching a show on one of the five onboard televisions.

The cabin is loaded with lights, and it has enough seating for a frat house party. Everyone enters and exits through a single side door.

It was not a one man show. Racing companies were involved in fabricating the front and rear suspension components and so were electrical folks involved.

When it was all said and done, 60-100 people had taken part in this epic, unique one-off project. And it is indeed a very big creation that stretches 42 feet, with the tail 11.6 feet in the air.
