The claimed specs at the time indicated the V8 could hit 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 4.2 seconds, which was lightning quick by the standards of the early 1990s. If the Vector W8 a look from the side, you will quickly notice it’s epic aerodynamic that helped this car maintaining impressive downforce and rise above 220 mph in speed.

Even its side mirrors were made to contribute to its handling of the road. Its lightweight was brought about by the carbon fiber and Kevlar material that is attached to a semi-aluminum monocoque chassis.

You will not be surprised to learn that only 17 units of this car were built between 1990 to 1993. This further underlines just how special the W8 was. Driving one today still gives that nostalgic feeling of attachment to a lovely piece of treasure.
