A Tractor Made From Wood? Only In Hungary!

53-year old Istvan Puskás from Hungary has been creating all sorts of functional vehicles out of pine wood for the last ten years. For quite some time now he has held the dream of creating something he knows best and that resonates well with his profession. He made a wooden tractor!

The wooden utility vehicle will most likely not going to harvest the crops anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t made the news either way. The tractor boasts a 150 cc engine and actual tractor wheels, and these are just about all the similarities it has with modern vehicles.

Everything else, however, was carefully hand-crafted out of pine wood, an occupation he’s been staying busy with for about a decade now. The old man is a tractor driver at a nearby agricultural firm and has been using his extreme wood-whittling skills to create several other vehicles.

Over the the years, he showcased several others creations such as three wooden pushbikes, a wooden motorbike, and even a wooden car. Since Puskas claims he has always been a big fan of machines made out of wood, he is unlikely to stop this funny hobby anytime soon and we surely will keep his eyes on his next “mischief.”
