Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison: Off-Road Ruggedness Revisited

Taking Off-Road Abilities To A Mile Higher

There could only be one reason why Chevy developed the ZR2 Bison for 2019 afresh: to tackle even tougher terrain than the standard ZR2, and be able to hand long-distance overland trips with the easy of breathing in and out. This is a road master that will do all your off road favors at the request of your feet.

This Chevy brings a handful of extraordinary off-road stubbornness that is only fit for a vehicle ready to be punished. Five skidplates curved out of ultra-tough hot-stamped Boron steel protect the oil pan, transfer case, fuel tank, and front and rear differentials.

Then heavily enhanced steel bumpers at the front and rear for extra toughness and to protect against errant impacts on. If you want extra caution, the front bumper is much ready for an aftermarket upgrade and the rear bumper has winching capabilities just in case someone gets stuck and you wanna lift them off.

This Chevy has been given an uplift courtesy of AEV. Dave Harriton, founder and president of AEV looked back and admired what they had done on it.

“We’ve been following Colorado since its introduction, and the ZR2 really captured our attention,” he said. “As this is the first Chevrolet vehicle we’ve given the AEV treatment to, we wanted to do something special with the industry’s first use of hot-stamped Boron steel. We also expect that Colorado drivers will love the added ruggedness of our front and rear bumpers on ZR2 Bison.”

They not only added ruggedness but also some extreme authenticity to its performance.
