Adam Taylor Spent 10 Years Hand-Building A 200 Mph Supercar

Meet The Man Behind The Custom Supercar

There is a sense of pride that comes with attaining some milestones in life. It’s very natural. But what celebration should a man call out for when he builds an enormous car inside his small garage in a somewhat little town as did Adam Taylor?.

Inside his garage in Hawaii, Adam Taylor built a machine that saw him ship equipment from far and wide across several states. The process began in his undergraduate years and when he finally was done he had achieved his dream with a 950hp and 8,000 rpm engine.

When he was done, he named the car RX777, as a ‘work of art,’ denoting something that can never be replicated.

The proud man of a hand-made supercar says, “It took me 10 years to build, the main reason being I built it through my college and grad school years – there was limited time and funds available.”
Its been so involved that he cannot even put an exact figure to the entire work, though he estimates it runs into hundreds of dollars, perhaps six figures.

Adam breathes confidence and pride out of his project. He says, “The car in my mind is priceless. Once you’ve created the concept and then you’ve done well bringing it into reality, I think it’s instantly an iconic type thing in its own class.”

He sums up his achievement in five simple words, “I’m very grateful for that.”
